So this one’s honest to goodness Ritual Vitamins review to help you decide whether or not to try this one out.
In one way or another, you might have encountered Ritual Vitamins ad over your Facebook or Instagram feeds. Needless to say, the company’s ads are all over –, especially on the subway! So, if you are commuting, most likely you have passed on in one of their ads.
To be honest, a lot of women are becoming more and more curious about Ritual Vitamins, which is why it is not surprising why there are so many Ritual multivitamin reviews coming out over the internet these days.
But is it really? Does it really help women? How does it work, and does it really work at all? These questions and more, we will try to answer as we look deeper into Ritual Vitamins.
WHAT ARE RITUAL VITAMINS?
First and foremost, let’s get to know the product.
The product claim to be “made specifically for women”. So, yes, it basically is for us!
More so, it comes in two different types. One is what they call as the “Essential for Women,” and the other is called, “Essential Prenatal”.
Each bottle of Ritual vitamins contains 60 pills. Based on its recommended dosage, you are instructed to take two capsules a day.
Each pill that you take is said to be gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan, which means, it’s safe for everyone regardless of your diet needs (especially if you have allergies and the like).
Moreover, Ritual ensures their pills are not harmful especially to women with sensitive stomach as they say:
“We use a vegan, delayed-release capsule that not only bypasses the stomach to prevent nausea but also ensures maximum absorption of the nutrients in Essential for Women. A lot of people also get nauseous from taking iron, but the form we use is ferrous bisglycinate, which has better tolerability, absorption, and efficacy than the other iron forms which may cause nausea.”
More so, Ritual takes pride in their product. As stated on their website:
“At Ritual, we put quality and efficacy above all. We use obsessively researched nutrients, in forms identical to those found in healthy foods. We use clean alternatives to traditional fillers and preservatives. And we ship our product fresh–it never sits on a shelf.”
Get to know more about Ritual’s history by watching this video below:
Ritual vitamin comes with a subscription service. If you are not familiar with it, it basically means a bottle of Ritual vitamins will show up on your doorstep every month. Of course, it not for free. You are going to pay for it at $30 per month for the so-called standard version, while $35 per month for the prenatal vitamins.
Just like other subscription-based medications or vitamins, Ritual vitamins allow you to modify your shipping schedule any time. More so, if you feel like the vitamins are not for you or you want to stop taking it, you can also cancel your subscription anytime for free (now that’s what free).
With so much confidence in their product, Ritual promises to pay for your first order if you happen to be not a fan of their product. Well, that’s very fair enough, right? Money-back guarantee it is.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS OF RITUAL VITAMINS?
If you happen to read or see Ritual’s tagline, it says, “for skeptics, by skeptics,” which basically means, the company aims to be super honest about what their product is all about. They aim to keep you well-informed of what you are putting in your body.
To be honest, this one’s quite unique. We do not know about you, but we haven’t really encountered a brand that aims to be brutally honest about their product especially in the supplement industry.
Apparently, this mindset happened when Ritual’s founder, Katerina Schneider felt confused by all the ingredients listed in prenatal vitamins while she was pregnant. Needless to say, the lack of transparency on what really is inside each pill.
So, Katerina’s confusion led to the launching of Ritual in 2015. She established a team of scientists, which was led by Dr. Luke Bucci, Ph.D.
In order to come up with this product, the team reviews over 10,000 scientific studies. Reviewing these studies helped them review the right and the most crucial nutrients to include in their product. If you want to learn more about their findings, as well as read detailed information about each ingredient, you may do so on Ritual’s website.
You see, this kind of transparency is super rare – especially in this day and age. More so, you will also find interviews with manufacturers on their website, which will make you appreciate the product more, and also, the people behind the product.
With this kind of transparency, you just know how much the company cares for you and your well-being.
By the way, before we move on, although we mentioned about two different variations of Ritual vitamins, we are particularly focusing on the regular variation or what they call as the Essential Vitamins.
Now, for your information, every pill of Ritual’s regular multivitamin is composed of nine ingredients namely:
- Boron – Ritual has 1mg of Boron, which is being linked to helping improve bone health.
- Folate – There is 600mcg of folate in every pill of Ritual vitamins. Folate is known to be great in DNA synthesis, as well as brain health.
- Iron – Ritual pills have 8mg of iron in it. Iron has been long linked to helping improve brain health, energy, as well as in blood building.
- Magnesium – There are 30mg of magnesium in every Ritual vitamin pill, which is known to help keep your bones healthy, as well as your heart and your mood.
- Plant-Based Omega-3 – Omega-3 is also present in every Ritual vitamin pill. In fact, it has 330mg of plant-based omega-3. As you probably know, omega-3 is known to help keep the hearth and brain healthy. Furthermore, it is also linked to support the immune system.
- Vitamin B12 – Vitamin B12 is also present in Ritual vitamins. It contains 8mcg of vitamin B12, which is linked to helping ensure a great brain and nerve function, and also is a great source of energy.
- Vitamin D3 – Every pill of Ritual vitamins also contains 50mcg of Vitamin D3, which is great for bone health, as well as immune support.
- Vitamin E – Ritual vitamins also contain 7mg of vitamin E, which is proven to be a great antioxidant and helps keep your skin healthy.
- Vitamin K2 – Lastly, Ritual vitamins contain 90mcg of vitamin K2, which is also great to keep your heart, bone, and skin healthy.
Just so you know, Ritual’s prenatal vitamins include 12 different ingredients that ensure you get what you need during the prenatal stage.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TAKING RITUAL VITAMINS?
As part of our Ritual vitamins review, we thought it’s just right to ensure you know what benefits you will get from taking Ritual vitamins, right?
So, according to the makers of Ritual, Ritual vitamins:
- It helps maintain energy, immunity, and skin.
- Supports red blood cells and vital internal organs like your heart.
- Helps your body use the calcium you get from food to keep your bones strong.
- It helps your body maintain tissue structure, fight free radicals, and age well from within.
To be honest, it’s hard for us to tell whether or not these are true or that we can attribute such improvements in these areas to Ritual alone.
However, based on our observation, it’s very commendable that while most iron supplements can cause stomach ache, Ritual doesn’t. Needless to say, its capability to ensure adequate iron levels helps keep women energized, which is very helpful especially for busy moms.
DOES FDA RECOMMEND RITUAL VITAMINS?
While making this Ritual multivitamin review, we thought of looking into whether or not the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends Ritual vitamins.
Unfortunately, we found out that the FDA does not approve any dietary supplement, which means supplements are not regulated by the agency. Thus, supplements are not evaluated for their efficacy as well as safety in people who are taking it.
Having said that, all the more that we appreciate Ritual’s transparency when it comes to what’s inside each pill.
However, as a precautionary measure, even experts suggest that you consult your doctor first before taking any dietary supplement or in this case, Ritual vitamins. This helps ensure you are getting what your body just needs.
HOW DOES RITUAL VITAMINS SUBSCRIPTION WORK?
Overall, we like how minimal and simple Ritual vitamins. By its looks plus the website, and everything else – yes, including their subscription process.
For just $30 a month, you will be able to get a 30-day supply of Essential Vitamins. While for their Prenatal Vitamins, it costs $35. Please note that as we have mentioned earlier, we are going to focus on their regular vitamins.
Once you subscribe, it automatically renews and ships at the same time every month to ensure that subscribers will not run out of their daily dose of Ritual vitamins.
If you wish to change the date of your monthly vitamin shipment, you may freely do so. You may also skip a month or cancel your subscription as you please, which is really convenient. Needless to say, it’s all for free – so you do not have to worry about changes or cancellations.
In addition, with so much confidence in their product, Ritual assures you get your money back if you feel like it’s not for you. Now that is a great deal, right?
HOW MUCH DOES RITUAL VITAMINS COST AND ARE THERE COUPONS AVAILABLE?
Of course, to ensure we get all product aspects covered, and as part of our thorough Ritual vitamins review, we will also look into its pricing, as well as coupon offerings.
To be honest, compared to other multivitamins out there, Ritual’s price is higher in the beginning. However, their monthly subscription price, which amounts to $30 for their regular vitamins (while $35 for the prenatal ones) is actually a pretty good deal.
Imagine, you get a 30-day supply of multivitamins as compared to $200 when you purchase a monthly supply of each ingredient separately. Omega-3 alone would cost you $25 for a month’s supply. Needless to say, the ingredients that Ritual uses in their vitamins are high-quality. The company is also very careful in sourcing each ingredient.
Meanwhile, we are happy knowing that just like most subscriptions, Rituals also offer coupons. Ritual vitamins do have a promo code for a $5 discount when you purchase your first bottle. However, you can only avail such promo if you buy the product using someone’s referral code or by signing up through the link on their website.
The code will be automatically available once you sign up or through the person who refers you.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? IF SO, WHAT ARE THEY?
It is very surprising that we did not find any side effects both on Ritual’s website, as well as in customer reviews. This means that if you are someone who tends to experience side effects when taking vitamins or multivitamins, then, Ritual may give you a different experience.
Instead of finding negative effects, we, instead found out that Ritual’s pills were designed to be very gentle particularly on an empty stomach. This is made possible by a delayed release of nutrients. This process is particularly ideal for people (women in particular) who experience nausea when taking pills on an empty stomach.
Of course, while we can say all we want about the product, we thought it’s also important to know other people’s points of view about the product.
Thus, we are sharing some Ritual vitamins review from their customers and avid subscribers:
Best Vitamin I have ever taken!
I took the chance to try out Ritual over 6 months ago, with doubt because it is kinda pricy. But it turns out it is totally worth it. I love the smell, and they don’t make me nauseous when taking them as many others do.

I absolutely love this vitamin! I used the prenatal ones while pregnant because they were the only ones that wouldn’t make me sick and could take anytime of the day. I’m back to the regular vitamins now and I still love them! Once again only ones that don’t make me sick and I love the light flavor of both vitamins! Thank you!

Please do something incredible for your holistic well-being and purchase these vitamins. They have impacted me positively, and I look forward to continue staying a Ritual supporter for many years to come. Yes to health and wellness! I’ve been looking for a great multi for many years, and I finally found one that can grow with me throughout all the stages in my life.

I love this Vitamin
I have had other types and brands before and I used to buy it and just let it sit there because it was hard to swallow and tasted gross. I was so happy my research led me to this product. The smell the taste and the feel is to die for. Used it for a li6over a month. I love taking it. I don’t know the change in my body yet but I know it’s working its magic. Thank you for coming up with something this awesome
– Megnote M. (Published on Ritual)
I’ve been taking these vitamins for about 2 months now, and already I can feel positive differences. For example, my energy levels throughout the day have increased! My general mood has also improved, which has been very nice. The biggest thing I have noticed so far is I no longer have issues with my hands constantly being freezing! Like honestly they would get so cold they’d start to hurt, even if it wasn’t very cold out. I definitely must have been quite deficient in iron, and thanks to these vitamins I’m getting what I need and noticing positive changes. It really helps fill in those dietary gaps. Not only are the vitamins amazing, but the team behind them is as well. Any question I’ve ever had for them was answered in a very timely manner right on their Instagram page. Very nice people!
There’s no added junk your body doesn’t need, they’re vegan + cruelty-free, and they’re specially formulated for women. Plus they look pretty cool. Overall these vitamins have made me, personally, feel amazing. Not sure what’s up with all the other negative reviews. It’s literally just a multivitamin… I feel bad for the people who were expecting miracle cures. I’ve literally NEVER felt or seen results from any other multivitamin before trying Ritual.
What’s not to love?

RITUAL VITAMINS REVIEW: THE VERDICT
After our thorough research on the product, plus considering customer reviews, and our personal experience with the product, we have to say that Ritual vitamins are definitely worth it. It’s not about the hype of the marketing, it does really work its magic.
We love the fact that the company is very transparent with the kinds of ingredients or nutrients there are in each pill, where they got them from, and how much nutrient each pill has. More so, when it comes to the price point, we have to say that is very worth the price. While it may be pricey at first, but once you subscribe, you are getting way more than your money’s worth.
In addition, we also commend the fact that this pill is very easy on the stomach especially on an empty one. With Ritual vitamins, you do not have to worry about taking it before, after or in between meals or without taking meals at all.
