If you are looking for a light, compact, and portable stroller, then this article is dedicated to you. We are going to talk about what ZOE can offer. Particularly, we are sharing our ZOE stroller review about their three latest models. We promise to be as honest and real and comprehensive as possible.
Before anything else, let me tell you something – my husband and I are frequent travelers even before we knew each other. We love traveling as it gives us not only a feeling of joy but also teaches us a lot about ourselves and the places that we go to. That is why when we got married and had a kid, we knew that we are going to be a family of travelers. We knew we’re going to different places, exploring and learning about cultures and stuff.
With that said, when our son was on his way, and we were shopping for baby items, we were very specific in what we want especially for strollers. We wanted something that is not bulky. We want something that is easy to travel with. We did our research until we found a ZOE stroller review that convinced us enough to buy one for our baby.
After months of using the ZOE stroller, allow me to give you my own version of ZOE stroller review. As I’ve said earlier, I will give you an honest and comprehensive ZOE stroller review.
So, let’s get started!
Who is ZOE?
For those who are not that familiar with ZOE. Let me tell you something about the brand.
According to its website, ZOE “is a small, family-owned company”. They consider themselves as not your typical stroller company owned by a huge, well-known company. You’ll be surprised knowing that this company is run by the mom, dad, grandfather, and the four kids (mind you, two twins!).
ZOE started its operations in November 2015. With the grandfather and the dad’s exposure in their previous corporate jobs, the mom’s stroller addiction and her being a trained fashion merchandiser, the family went out of their comfort zone and established ZOE. They decided to create strollers for on-the-go parents because the owners are on-the-go parents themselves.
What makes them even more appealing is that they sell their products directly to the consumers to avoid markups that make products pricey. With ZOE, you get to have “super nice, high-end, durable products” at a cheaper price!
I bet mommies who are strict with their home budgets would love this because it’s exactly one of the reasons why my husband and I fell in love with ZOE. We never thought we can buy a really good stroller that suits our need at a very affordable price.
Moving on, ZOE strollers have a variety to choose from – from single to quad strollers. Yes! So whether you have a single baby, twins, triplets or quadruplets, ZOE has something in store for you.
ZOE XLC BEST v2, ZOE XL1 BEST v2 and ZOE XLT DELUXE Strollers Comprehensive Review
Now, we are for the most awaited part. Since we’re done introducing the brand to you, let’s move on to their products. I tell you, you might go head over heels with what this brand has to offer. With so much beautiful strollers to choose from, it might give you a headache.
But, don’t worry. That’s exactly the reason why I wrote this ZOE stroller review. Hopefully, after reading this, you’ll be convinced to give this beautiful brand a try and see for yourself how awesome it is.
ZOE strollers, as earlier mentioned have a stroller for every mom, according to her baby’s needs. But allow me to focus on their three newest versions. These are the ZOE XLC BEST v2, ZOE XL1 BEST v2, and ZOE XLT DELUXE.
ZOE XLC BEST v2
Type: Umbrella Stroller
Weight: 11lbs
What Makes It a Standout: Its compact fold design makes it an ideal stroller for traveling be it by plane, car or train. It’s great to serve as a second stroller for toddlers.
Features to Love
– Weight. This unit is lightweight and portable at 11lbs – definitely one of the lightest stroller we can think of.
– Easy, Compact Fold. With just a push of a button and the flick or a wrist, you’re already good to go. No doubt a very compact unit.
– Color. The ZOE XLC BEST v2 comes in black and navy. Very classic but modern at the same time, and no doubt, beautiful. Well, for moms like me who loves dark, neutral colors, this one’s a great choice.
– Deep Recline and Adjustable Footrest – Should your baby wish to take a nap, you can just adjust it to napping position
– Storage. With its compact size, you’ll be surprised it has a decent storage space. Mommies love storage, don’t you? With that space, you can easily store some diapers and blankets your baby needs while on a stroll.
Downsides
– It’s not suitable for infants. If you are looking for a stroller for your little darling, this one is not a good choice.
– Short in height. If you are a parent whose height is 6 feet above, you’ll not like this one. It’s too short for you.
– No accessories included. It’s super basic. If you want a rain cover, travel bag or parent console, you got to buy them separately.
– If you need a parent-facing stroller, this is not it.
ZOE XL1 BEST v2
Type: Umbrella Stroller
Weight: 11lbs
What Makes It a Standout: If you are just going for quick trips to the mall or to the city, then this one is for you. It’s suitable for big kids too. Definitely value for money.
Features to Love
– It has a wide and roomy seat.
– Easy fold and unfold feature. By just pulling a strap from the seat, it closes and locks. No need to bend all the way down. It has a folding stand too.
– Maneuverability is easy with just a hand.
– Deeper recline compared to other strollers.
– With its increased width, it’s definitely more stable than the XLC.
Downsides
– It doesn’t have an adjustable footrest.
– It’s a bit too large for the overhead compartment, thus, if you are planning to go on a plane trip, this unit is not for that purpose.
– The mesh basket does not seem sturdy.
– It does not have a standing fold.
ZOE XLT DELUXE
Type: Lightweight Stroller
Weight: 16lbs
What Makes It a Standout: This unit is great for running errands, for everyday use. If you and your baby love walking to the park, then this is the best pick for you.
Features to Love
– Nice colors to choose from plus the fabric is easy to clean with just one wipe.
– It’s easy to maneuver with just one hand.
– An amazing one-handed fold.
– It’s sturdy enough to last in different types of terrain – grass, street, sandy beach.
– It has a hidden pocket at the back where the vent is.
– The spacious basket underneath. Great for us moms. We can store baby stuff.
Downsides
– It doesn’t fit in the overhead, but you can check it in any way, just don’t forget to buy the travel bag, which is another downside by the way.
– Although it looks nice and has some really good features, there’s still a lot more room for improvement. Performance and materials can still be improved.
While these units that we reviewed have their share of to love and not to love features, I am still a fan of ZOE. With their wide range of strollers with different features to choose from, I’m sure you’ll find the one that you’re looking for.
For a petite mom like me, ZOE is the best choice – especially their stroller models that are lightweight. Again, depending on your needs and the purpose of the stroller, ZOE sure has something to offer. Well, for me, overall, ZOE is worth your money. You get what you pay for.
So there you go. Let me just remind you though that I only gave a ZOE stroller review for three different models. Better check their website to see their full range of products to choose from. I am sure, like me, you’ll leave their website with a happy heart.
